Applicants
The goal of the Safe at Home program is to help victims of crime and their families in their efforts to stay safe. Safe at Home provides a substitute address for survivors to use on new records with government agencies and the courts, and a mail-forwarding service that enables them to keep their actual address confidential.
In addition, it allows participants to use the substitute address on their government records and public filings, keeping assailants from using current government documents to locate their victims.
