WHEREAS, Executive Order 02-15, which established the Missouri Security Council, was issued on September 11, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the threat of agroterrorism and the necessity of ensuring that Missouri agriculture is protected to the same extent as other Missouri resources makes it imperative that the Department of Agriculture, through its director, serves as a member of the Missouri Security Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, BOB HOLDEN, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, by virtue of the authority placed in me by the Constitution and the Laws of the State of Missouri, do hereby amend Executive Order 02-15 by inserting into the membership of the Missouri Security Council as appears in paragraph seven of that Executive Order "Director of the Department of Agriculture."
