EXECUTIVE ORDER
93-24
WHEREAS, many grain warehousing facilities have been impacted by the recent floods; and
WHEREAS, grain in such facilities must often be moved quickly to avoid irreparable harm;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mel Carnahan, Governor of the State of Missouri, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the State of Missouri, including Chapter 44 RSMo, do hereby authorize the Director of the Department of Agriculture to grant waivers to the requirements of Section 411.515.2 RSMo as follows:
- Waivers shall only be granted for the period July 1, 1993 to September 30, 1993;
- Waivers shall only be granted to grain warehouses affected by flooding;
- The Director of Agriculture, or his designated representatives, may institute emergency reporting requirements in conjunction with any waiver to fulfill the purpose of the waived provision; and
- All waivers issued shall expire on September 30, 1993.
