EXECUTIVE ORDER
85-8

WHEREAS, there is a need to provide tangible evidence of public recognition for exemplary service to the State of Missouri and outstanding achievement in the field of marksmanship with a high-power service rifle at the national competitive level by members of the Missouri National Guard, and

WHEREAS, these Guardsmen have performed with distinction, and

WHEREAS, this skillful performance should be commended, and is most deserving of recognition by the State of Missouri on behalf of its citizens,

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOHN ASHCROFT, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, under the authority vested in me by RSMo 41.090 and RSMo 41.120, do hereby authorize the Adjutant General of Missouri to award a Governor's Twelve Tab to those individual members of the Missouri National Guard who have qualified for this award. I further authorize the Adjutant General to ratify design, procure, and award this tab to those individuals determined to be eligible through administrative procedures established by his office.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Missouri, in the City of Jefferson, on this 13th day of March, 1985.
