EXECUTIVE ORDER

WHEREAS, there is a need to provide tangible evidence of public recognition for exemplary service to the State of Missouri and extraordinary achievement in the field of marksmanship with individual and crew-served combat weapons by members of the Missouri National Guard, and
WHEREAS, these Guardsmen have performed with distinction, and
WHEREAS, this skillful performance should be commended, and is most deserving of recognition by the State of Missouri on behalf of its citizens,
NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOHN ASHCROFT, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, under the authority vested in me by RSMo 41.090 and RSMo 41.120, do hereby authorize the Adjutant General of Missouri to award a Missouri Adjutant General's Twenty Ribbon for Marksmanship Achievement to individual members of the Missouri National Guard who have qualified for this award. I further authorize the Adjutant General to design, procure, and award this ribbon to those individuals determined to be eligible through administrative procedures established by his office.
