EXECUTIVE ORDER
80-5
REORGANIZATION PLAN 2 OF 1980
By virtue of the authority vested in me by Sections 26.500, RSMo, 1969, I, JOSEPH P. TEASDALE, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, do hereby proclaim the following reorganization plan which provides a personnel system for hiring and retaining employees on a merit basis:
"All employees of the Motor Vehicle and Drivers Licensing Division of the Missouri Department of Revenue, except the Director of the Motor Vehicle and Drivers Licensing Division, one principle assistant to the director to be designated by him, one secretary for the director, three bureau chiefs within the Motor Vehicle and Drivers Licensing Division, one secretary for each designated bureau chief, and such other employees as may be exempted under the provisions of Chapter 36, RSMo, shall be selected in accordance with and subject to 'The State Merit System Law.'"
This order shall be effective ninety days following the adjournment of the Eightieth General Assembly, Second Regular Session unless the plan is disapproved in accordance with the provisions of Section 26.510, RSMo, 1969.
