80-21
ORDER OF REMOVAL FROM OFFICE
WHEREAS, Francis H. Welch was suspended with pay from the office of Administrative Hearing Commissioner for the State of Missouri by order issued May 5, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the director of the Department of Consumer Affairs, Regulation and Licensing filed and caused to be personally served on Mr. Welch a statement of the justification for removal; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Advisory Board, after having given Mr. Welch due notice and an opportunity to be heard, took evidence on June 11, 1980 on the question whether or not the removal of Francis H. Welch from the office of Administrative Hearing Commissioner was necessary for the betterment of the public service and said board issued its findings of fact, conclusions of law and its recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH P. TEASDALE, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, in accordance with the authority granted by Section 106.010, RSMo, 1978 and Art. IV, Section 17, Missouri Constitution do hereby declare and direct that, effectively immediately, Francis H. Welch be and hereby is removed from the office of Administrative Hearing Commissioner for the State of Missouri.
