EXECUTIVE ORDER
80-16
I, Joseph P. Teasdale, Governor of the State of Missouri, do hereby declare that Friday, April 25, 1980, shall be a day of mourning in Missouri in respect to the memory of the eight servicemen who lost their lives in the attempted rescue of the hostages in Iran; that all flags of the United States and the State of Missouri shall be flown at half staff at all state departments, agencies, institutions and other facilities for a period of eight days, commemorating the eight brave men who gave their lives willingly for our country; flags shall remain at half staff through May 2, 1980.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Missouri, in the City of Jefferson on this 25th day of April, 1980.
