EXECUTIVE ORDER
80-14
WHEREAS, I have been advised by the State Director, Disaster Planning and Operations Office, Civil Defense, Office of the Adjutant General, that a natural disaster has occurred in portions of St. Louis County and St. Charles County, Missouri; that injury to persons and damage to and loss of property has resulted from severe winds and tornado conditions on April 7, 1980, and that the safety and welfare of the inhabitants thereof require an invocation of the provisions of Section 44.100, RSMo 1969;
NOW THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH P. TEASDALE, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, by virtue of authority vested in me, Section 44.100, RSMo 1969, do hereby declare that a state of emergency exists in St. Louis County and St. Charles County, Missouri, and that said counties are hereby declared to be disaster areas, and do hereby authorize the use of such agencies, personnel and equipment of the State as may be necessary for the preservation of life, property and the restoration of public facilities.
