MOYAC (Missouri Youth and Children) is a moderated discussion list for staff providing children's and young adult services in Missouri public and school libraries

TeachingBooks is an engaging collection of resources that helps children and youth connect to books and authors that they love. It is free to all Missouri residents, and includes many tools for librarians, teachers, and parents looking for ways to promote high quality books to children. 

The Missouri Collection Analysis Initiative helps Missouri librarians and classroom teachers ensure that their collections are meeting the needs of patrons and students. It helps professionals make decisions about collection management, programming, lesson planning, book displays and front-facing titles, and more. Ongoing professional development and personalized support is included. 

Collaborative Summer Reading Program (CSLP) is a grassroots consortium of states working together to provide high-quality summer library program materials. 

2025 Summer Library Program Supplemental Manual The Missouri State Library gathered information and ideas from our 2024 Summer Library Planning Workshops to create this resource to pair with the 2025 CSLP Summer Reading Manual.

STEM Kit Lending Program provides a collection of STEM and StoryWalk(R) kit available for checkout by public and school libraries. 

Every Child Ready to Read The Public Library Association and the Association for Library Service to Children, have incorporated the latest research into a series of parent and caregiver workshops to provide public libraries with vital tools to help prepare parents for their critical role as their child's first teacher.

Libraries and Autism This link provides a customer service training video primarily for library staff to help them serve individuals with autism and their families more effectively.
