Missouri State Library Funding Sources

There are a variety of grants available to public, school, academic and special libraries in Missouri. In the links below, you will find information on those managed by the Missouri State Library.

LSTA Grants: There are a variety of competitive federal grant opportunities supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the Missouri State Library, a division of the Office of the Secretary of State

State Funding: State funded grants, subject to appropriation, include State Aid, Equalization and Athletes and Entertainers Tax.

Indirect Rate Policy: The policy that limits the administrative or indirect rates that may be charged by contractors or sub-grantees.
