Be it resolved by the people of the state of Missouri that the Constitution be amended:

One new section is adopted to be known as Article X, Section 25 and to read as follows:

The state, counties, and other political subdivisions are hereby prohibited from imposing any tax that has not been previously authorized and imposed when this section is adopted, including a sales tax, for the sale or transfer of homes or any other real estate.
