Mail and Make kits are designed for youth patrons working at an 8- to 13-year-old skill level but are also open to adult patrons with an intellectual disability.  Crafts are mailed out four times a year. Each craft will have large print instructions included in the mailing with a link to a how-to video.

2026 Winter Kit

Wolfie’s Youth Mail and Make kits for Winter 2026 are on their way to participants. This kit contains everything you need to embellish a portrait of George Washington in celebration of the United States of America’s 250^th birthday, 1776 to 2026.

And don’t forget to check out the featured titles, included in your kit, that explore how the United States developed during its early years; how our government was formed, early presidents, famous Americans, and stories that have shaped our national identity!

1. Register the person for Wolfner Library services, if you have not done so already. Go to the Apply for Services page for access to the eligibility requirements and application.
