This collection consists of more than 2,300 images of Kansas City public parks and events sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department. The collection covers the 1920s through 1970s and documents construction of, activities in, and segregation of public parks. Although the collection is not digitized, its original index has been converted to a PDF and is keyword-searchable online here.
