-
As a class, make a list on the board of possible themes for your students' own, special version of the Missouri State Fair.
-
Once you have a list of themes, take a vote with students to select a theme.
-
Break your class into groups.
-
Each group should brainstorm about an exhibit or program they’d like to “create” for their own version of the Missouri State Fair.
-
Students should name their exhibit or program, write a brief summary of what can be found there, and how much they would charge.
-
Students should work together to make a poster advertising their exhibit or program.
-
Educators may choose to display the posters around the room, or in the school hallway or cafeteria.
