Now on the 31st day of January, 2007, the Commissioner of Securities Matt Kitzi finds and orders that:
On May 17, 2006, the Commissioner entered an Order to Cease and Desist and Order to Show Cause Why Civil Penalties and Costs Should Not Be Imposed in this proceeding against, among others, Respondents Jacqueline Boykin and Laurence Young.
On December 6, 2006, the Commissioner issued a Consent Order as to Respondent Canady Holdings, Inc.
On January 31, 2007, the Commissioner issued a Consent Order as to Respondent Julie Teng.
On January 29, 2007, the Enforcement Section of the Securities Division of the Office of Secretary of State, through its Chief Counsel Patrick Morgan, filed “Petitioner’s Motion to Dismiss as to Respondents Boykin and Teng [sic]” (the “Motion”). In paragraph 4 of the Motion, the Petitioner requests that Respondent Boykin and Respondent Young, and not Respondent Teng, be dismissed from this proceeding.
The Commissioner, after consideration of the Motion and the above, finds this Order, pursuant to Section 409.6-604(h), RSMo. (Cum. Supp. 2006), to be in the public interest and in concert with the interest of protecting of public investors, and consistent with the provisions of Chapter 409, RSMo.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED that Respondent Jaqueline Boykin is dismissed from this proceeding with prejudice.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that Respondent Laurence Young is dismissed from this proceeding with prejudice.
