In an initiative designed to educate and protect Missouri’s growing senior population, we have formed a special unit in the Enforcement Section of the Securities Division, the Senior Investor Protection Unit. Senior investment fraud is recognized nationwide as a top threat to investors, and Missouri is no exception. The Securities Division receives numerous complaints from Missouri seniors each week who are concerned about investment fraud and protecting their investments and hard-earned savings. The staff members who make up the Senior Investor Protection Unit are specially trained and qualified in the area of senior investor protection.
