WHEREAS, on November 12, 1986, Executive Order 86-26 established the Missouri State Park Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, at this time, it is necessary to amend Executive Order 86-26 relating to the membership of the Board and when meetings shall be held.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, MEL CARNAHAN, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, pursuant to the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the State of Missouri, hereby amend Executive order 86-26, regarding the membership of the Missouri State Park Advisory Board and when meetings shall be called, as follows:
The Board membership shall be increased from six to eight members, and the Board shall meet as often as necessary to provide timely and appropriate advice but not fewer than four times a year. Meetings shall be held on the call of the chairperson, the Director of the Department of Natural Resources, or upon the request of five members of the Board.
