EXECUTIVE ORDER
94-09

WHEREAS, an Executive Order was issued January 28, 1994, transferring the Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities from the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to the Office of Administration; and

WHEREAS, Reorganization Plan No, 1, 1994, was filed in conjunction with Executive Order 94-06 informing the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Missouri of the transfer of the Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities from the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to the Office of Administration; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of the State of Missouri at this time to retain the Governor's Committee in the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations for administrative purposes;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mel Carnahan, Governor of the State of Missouri, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the State of Missouri, do hereby rescind those provisions of Executive Order 94-06 and Reorganization Plan No. 1, 1994, that deal with the Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities. This Order does not affect the portions of Executive Order 94-06 and Reorganization Plan No. 1, 1994, that deal with the transfer of the Capitol Police from the Office of Administration to the Department of Public Safety.
