EXECUTIVE ORDER
NO. 93-28

WHEREAS, many communities impacted by the flood have exhausted local law enforcement resources; and

WHEREAS, communities not impacted by the flood have law enforcement personnel available to assist these distressed communities;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mel Carnahan, Governor of the State of Missouri, by the virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the State of Missouri, including Chapter 44 RSMo, do hhereby authorize local law enforcement agencies to lend their personnel to local governments affected by flooding. Personnel on loan shall be considered borrowed servants or employees.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Missouri, in the City of Jefferson, on this 6th day of August, 1993.
