NO. 92-02
WHEREAS, Title XII, Social Security Act authorizes the Governor to request repayable advances for the Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund, and
WHEREAS, federal law allows the Governor to delegate authroity to the director of the division of employment security to request advances, and
WHEREAS, current projections of the balance contained in the Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund indicate the need to request repayable advances.
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the authority vested in me by the laws of the State of Missouri, including Article IV, Section I of the Missouri Constitution, I am, by this document, delegating authority to formally request repayable Title XII advances for the Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund to Alan Franklin, Director of the Division of Employment Security of the State of Missouri, in accordance with applicable federal law.
This delegation shall remain in effect until January 11, 1993, subject to my rescending of same.
