MERITORIOUS SERVICE MEDAL
UNDER authority vested in the Governor of Missouri by Section 41.560, Revised Statutes of Missouri, 1978, as amended, and upon recommendation of the Adjutant General of Missouri, I hereby present in the name of the State of Missouri , a MERITORIOUS SERVICE MEDAL to MASTER SERGEANT JOHN E. NOONAN, XXX-XX-XXX, 180th Tactical Airlift Squadron, for his outstanding meritorious service to the State of Missouri and the Nation.
Master Sergeant Noonan has distinguished himself by the performance of outstanding service for more than twenty-eight years in the Missouri Air National Guard. He has provided exceptional leadership in duties involving all levels of responsibility. He has performed duties as flight engineer in KC-97, C-97, and C-130 aircraft accumulating over 4,100 hours of flying time. His participation in the unit's airlift mission has been exceptional. He carefully planned his civilian obligations to provide for maximum participation in National Guard activities and could be counted on to perform difficlt mission requirements.
Master Sergeant Noonan is a true National Guardsman in every sense of the term and his dedicated service is recognized by all. He has demonstrated his personal integrity and professional competence during his dedicated service to the Missouri Air National Guard. His superior performance of duty is in the best tradition of the Military which he so conscientiously served, and reflect honorable and creditably upon himself, the Missouri National Guard and the State of Missouri.
