Public Libraries Certified for FY 2012 State Aid
The FY 2012 state aid to public libraries program received an appropriation of $3,604,001. A total of 163 libraries have been certified and qualify for state aid per capita payment this year at a $.50 per capita payment rate. The total amount to be distributed as FY12 per capita payments is $2,727,820.50.
Each library eligible for per capita funding will receive its total allocated award in two payments. The first and second quarter payment transmittal to libraries is November 3, 2011. It is anticipated that the third and fourth quarter payment will be distributed in spring of 2012. A listing of the recipient library districts and their payment amounts is posted on the State Library grants Web site at Public Libraries Eligible for State Aid, FY12.
