2014 Initiative Petitions Open for Public Comment
Public comment is currently open for the following initiative petitions. Before circulating a petition for signatures, state law requires that groups must first have the form of their petition approved by the secretary of state's office. The office then has 10 days after the form of the petition is approved to draft ballot summary language. During this time, the office will review all comments.
The comment period will be open for 15 days. If you are interested in conveying your thoughts as to these initiative petitions, please contact the Secretary of State's office by:
