All active duty military in Missouri, including those in the Missouri National guard, may now create new businesses without paying a filing fee with the Office of the Secretary of State.
The following fees for new business filings will be waived:

To qualify, all active military personnel must reside in Missouri and show proof of active service to the Office of the Secretary of State, such as a copy of your military ID card (CAC Card) or a letter from your respective service.
You may visit any of our four locations to file your new business or you may mail your filing to our office. Please include a copy of your military ID card or a letter to demonstrate proof you are active military with any eligible filing.
We currently cannot waive fees if you file electronically through our online system. However, a refund will be processed if you contact our office the same day you file electronically.
